Simon Ruston has been creating spaces for music and people in different places for the last 30 years, in a variety of different ways - through DJing, stages, venues, and programming. He has worked with the likes of Shambala, Arcadia, Boomtown, Kelburn Garden Party, Glastonbury Festival, The Landskills Fair and countless other events and gatherings across the UK.

In 2021, Simon cofounded Platform alongside some friends - a mobile solar stage for off grid art. 

Before co-founding Platform, Simon created and ran the Police Rave Unit - a mobile, off-grid sound system built into a converted police van that spent 12 years of infamy throwing parties in unexpected places across the country.
